📋 Description

• Own and improve growth-critical user flows including signup, onboarding, and the admin dashboard to enhance activation and retention for n8n’s self-serve Cloud platform
• Design, build, and A/B test high-impact experiments such as upgrade prompts, pricing nudges, AI credit metering UIs, and contextual paywalls to optimize conversion and revenue
• Develop and scale infrastructure that supports user growth at scale, including in-app messaging systems, billing services, and email orchestration tools
• Drive measurable business outcomes by directly impacting ARR, user retention, and key growth KPIs through data-informed product iterations
• Ship features autonomously with minimal PM oversight, making product decisions based on user behavior, data signals, and experimentation results
• Query and analyze user data directly to inform hypothesis generation, experiment design, and iterative improvements without relying on analytics teams
• Work closely with product, design, marketing, and engineering teams to align growth initiatives with overall product strategy and user experience
• Build experimentation infrastructure to enable rapid, reliable testing of new growth hypotheses across the entire user journey
• Optimize the user journey from initial sign-up through first success and eventual subscription, reducing friction and increasing conversion rates
• Iterate on personalized onboarding experiences based on initial user interactions to accelerate time-to-value and improve long-term retention
• Maintain and enhance the frontend and backend components of growth systems using TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node.js with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of growth features—from ideation and prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and iteration based on performance metrics
• Contribute to a culture of velocity and ownership where speed of experimentation and learning from failure are core to unlocking sustainable growth
• Collaborate in a remote-first environment with a globally distributed team, leveraging shared tools and transparent communication to align on goals and execution

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue or React (plus HTML/CSS/UI libraries)
• Proven ownership of growth metrics such as product activation, retention, or revenue on a growth or PLG team at a SaaS company
• Demonstrated experience shipping experiments from hypothesis to ship/kill decision
• Product-mindedness: ability to ship without a PM and make sound product decisions independently while engaging users for feedback
• Data fluency: ability to query data and make decisions based on user behavior and experiment results
• Comfort with ambiguity and a speed + ownership mindset: ability to move forward without perfect specs and iterate rapidly
