  • • The Senior Site Project Manager (Sr. SPM) at FORTNA is responsible for owning the scope, schedule, and budget of Material Handling projects exceeding $40M, serving as the primary on-site liaison between internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers from First Access to project completion. This role is critical to ensuring seamless execution of complex automation and distribution solutions that enable global brands to meet rising e-commerce demands through intelligent software and optimized material flow.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the Project Manager on large-scale initiatives, coordinating cross-functional efforts across engineering, procurement, and operations teams, maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, identifying and resolving mechanical and installation issues in real time, communicating progress and risks to stakeholders, recruiting and evaluating talent to strengthen the project team, managing multiple concurrent priorities under shifting conditions, making tactical decisions that drive execution, and ensuring 90% of work time is spent on-site to maintain direct oversight of installation activities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
  • • 5+ years of experience in the material handling industry or site project management
  • • Proven experience managing budgets exceeding $40M and coordinating departmental activities across engineering, vendors, and customer teams
