- • Lead all phases of the software development life cycle for SharePoint and SharePoint Online systems, from conceptualization to deployment.
- • Create detailed technical specifications for SharePoint and SharePoint Online environments, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- • Write, test, analyze, and implement high-quality code based on User Stories for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- • Serve as the subject matter expert on SharePoint and Microsoft product functionality, behavior, and capabilities, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.
- • Enforce company-wide software development standards and Agile/Scrum methodologies across the development team.
- • Provide Tier 3 support for SharePoint and SharePoint Online, resolving escalated IT issues and ensuring system reliability.
- • Drive resolution of complex technical problems by collaborating with internal infrastructure teams and external vendors such as Microsoft.
- • Maintain and configure the SharePoint development environment, coordinating with internal infrastructure for on-premise and Microsoft Support for cloud-based deployments.
- • Support production release activities using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools including Jenkins and GitHub.
- • Partner with Database Administration and Systems Administration teams to fulfill database and infrastructure system requirements.
- • Mentor junior developers through code reviews, build process guidance, and deployment best practices.
- • Design scalable solutions to solve critical business problems and present technical recommendations to non-technical business partners.
- • Maintain expert knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and consistently apply it to all development activities.
- • Utilize HTML, JavaScript, and data warehouse concepts to enhance system functionality and integration.
- • Build and sustain strong vendor relationships with Microsoft and other technology partners to ensure timely delivery of IT products and services.
- • Comply with all company policies related to the Software Development Life Cycle and security practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of web development and object-oriented programming in .NET or C#
- • Minimum of 5 years of SharePoint or .NET development and administration experience
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading development team activities such as code reviews, build processes, and deployment processes
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
- • Minimum of 1 year working in an Agile environment following Scrum, Kanban, or Lean methodologies
- • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
