Staff Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Analytics Engineer at Twilio, you will play a critical role in advancing the consistency and quality of the R&D analytics data layer, enabling data-backed decisions that accelerate innovation and improve product performance across the organization.
• • Day to day, you will design and implement a formal analytics data layer using AWS Glue, Presto, and LookML; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain metric definitions and data lineage; develop automated data quality checks; lead investigations into data anomalies; and mentor team members on best practices in data modeling, testing, documentation, and code review.
• • You will join Twilio’s Data Science and Analytics team within a remote-first, globally inclusive culture that values connection, innovation, and impact, working alongside Product and Engineering to strengthen data reliability and accessibility for R&D teams.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale analytics engineering, influence data culture at a leading communications platform, and grow as a technical leader by mentoring others and driving standardization of data practices across the enterprise.
