📋 Description

• As a Staff iOS Developer at Lightspeed, you will own and evolve the Lightspeed POS iOS app used by servers in hospitality settings.
• Day to day, you will design and implement user-centric iOS features in Swift (and Objective-C where needed) while balancing new development and maintenance.
• Lightspeed is a global commerce platform powering retail and hospitality merchants across 100+ countries, scaling high-traffic products.
• In this role, you can influence cross-functional product decisions, mentor peers, and help expand our POS into new markets (EMEA & NOAM).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and REST APIs.
• Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
• Familiarity with local network communication and external accessories (payment terminals, printers) is a plus.
• Solid software design skills and attention to code quality and system reliability.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English for global teams.
• Self-motivated, decisive, and committed to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
