- • The Startups Acquisition Coordinator plays a vital role in identifying and securing participation from high-potential startups for Web Summit’s global events, directly contributing to the mission of fostering meaningful connections between innovators, investors, and industry leaders.
- • Day to day, the role involves researching and reaching out to early-stage startups worldwide, assessing their fit for Web Summit events, managing outreach campaigns, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and collaborating with Startups Advisors to ensure a diverse and impactful cohort of participating companies.
- • The team operates at the forefront of the global tech ecosystem, working closely with entrepreneurs and innovation leaders to curate events that have featured industry pioneers such as Uber, Dropbox, Stripe, and Airbnb, reinforcing Web Summit’s reputation as a premier platform for tech advancement.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in startup evaluation, gain hands-on experience in international business development within the tech events sector, refine communication and negotiation skills with global founders, and contribute to shaping the future of innovation networking at scale.
