📋 Description

• The Strategic Analytics Consultant role at SSM Health Care Corporation is critical to shaping the organization’s strategic direction by transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform high-level decisions on market positioning, service lines, and growth initiatives.
• Day to day, the consultant analyzes internal and external data sources to assess demographic trends, provider access, payer profiles, and market competition; develops forecasts and models for strategic and capital planning; creates dashboards and presentations for senior leadership; and supports merger/acquisition assessments and provider recruitment efforts through data-driven research and visualization.
• The role sits within the System Strategy and Health Transformation department, collaborating closely with System Data Analytics (SDA) and strategy leaders to ensure data integrity and alignment across regional and system-wide initiatives, including master data management and business development.
• In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in healthcare market analysis, strategic planning methodologies, and data storytelling while influencing key organizational decisions related to facility planning, service line expansion, and competitive positioning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience or education
• Five years of relevant experience in strategy, analytics, or a related field
• Prior experience with Sg2, Advisory Board, and Trilliant platforms or similar healthcare intelligence tools
