• • You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of operational evolution across the entire business. This involves close collaboration with leaders in product, engineering, legal operations, and firm experience to architect sophisticated systems capable of managing escalating complexity without compromising our speed of execution or the quality of client care. A key aspect of this role will be to grow and mentor a team of customer-centric, high-velocity operators, empowering each individual to develop and scale their capabilities as Finch experiences its inflection point.

You will be tasked with deeply understanding the intricacies of Finch's operations, identifying areas of friction or inefficiency, and subsequently building robust systems to maintain and enhance quality as we navigate exponential growth. • • Key responsibilities include working directly with the founders and senior leadership team to define and execute the operational strategy and roadmap. This encompasses scaling workflows, optimizing tooling, and refining team structures across critical areas such as Case Workflow, Legal Ops Experience, and Firm Experience. You will design and implement cross-functional systems that foster alignment, ensure consistent quality, and drive high performance across all teams.
• • Furthermore, you will partner closely with our product and engineering departments to shape and implement scalable, tech-enabled workflows. The goal is to significantly reduce friction points as our operational volumes increase, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders. You will also be responsible for identifying and prioritizing high-leverage operational improvements across various departments, meticulously balancing immediate needs with the long-term vision for scalability.
• • A crucial component of this role involves the development and coaching of a team of experienced operators. Your leadership will be vital in helping them scale their skills and impact as Finch continues its rapid growth trajectory. The Strategy & Operations (S&O) team at Finch acts as the vanguard, identifying the most critical problems and growth opportunities and tackling them with speed and precision. This team owns the playbooks, workflows, and experimental initiatives that propel the business forward.
• • You will collaborate extensively with Legal Ops, Product & Engineering, and Growth teams to deliver tenfold improvements for our attorney partners, their clients, and our internal staff. Experience in building zero-to-one systems or teams is highly desirable. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, operating with a sense of urgency, and possess the ability to both conceptualize high-level strategy and execute meticulously on the details.
