Jerry Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Team Lead for Insurance Sales to join our Austin, Texas-based team. This is a unique opportunity to be a pivotal player-coach, guiding a team of talented Insurance Sales Agents towards exceptional performance and contributing directly to the scaling of our revolutionary car ownership super app. As part of a company that has achieved 60X revenue growth in five years and is backed by $240M in funding, you will be at the forefront of disrupting a $2T market and helping us achieve our vision of becoming a $10B business.
  • • At Jerry, we are not just selling insurance; we are fundamentally simplifying the most complex and often frustrating aspects of car ownership for our rapidly expanding customer base of over 5 million users. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring your team delivers a tailored, seamless, and positive experience for every customer. You will serve as the vital link between the day-to-day execution of sales strategies and the broader operational objectives. Your leadership will be key in coaching your team to not only meet but exceed aggressive sales targets, while simultaneously collaborating closely with our Product and Engineering teams to shape the future evolution of the Jerry super app. This is a chance to immerse yourself in a talent-dense environment that champions first-principles thinking and offers unparalleled opportunities for rapid career advancement.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to foster a high-performance sales culture through rigorous and supportive coaching. This involves conducting thorough call audits to identify areas for improvement, meticulously tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and delivering impactful monthly coaching sessions focused on individual talent development and skill enhancement. You will manage the daily operations of your assigned sales squad, overseeing essential functions such as scheduling, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding process for new, high-caliber hires. Your insights will be invaluable in driving operational excellence; you will provide direct, actionable feedback to Product Managers and Engineering teams to refine our internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enhance our cutting-edge GenAI tools, and elevate the overall user experience within the Jerry app.
  • • To maintain a sharp understanding of the customer journey and to lead by example, you will also engage in direct customer interactions. This includes hopping on the front lines to assist customers, simplifying complex insurance jargon, preparing accurate quotes, and successfully binding policies. This hands-on approach ensures you remain attuned to the nuances of the customer experience and can effectively guide your team. Furthermore, you will play a key role in shaping our growth strategy by collaborating across the insurance operations department. Your efforts will focus on identifying coverage gaps, developing strategies to increase new business policy sales, and implementing initiatives to enhance customer retention, thereby contributing to the sustained growth and success of Jerry.

You should possess a proven track record of coaching, mentoring, or leading sales teams within a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
