- • As a Tech Lead (Sub-Acquirer) at RecargaPay, you will play a strategic role in leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact payment solutions for over 12 million Brazilian users, driving technical excellence and team growth in a profitable, AI-first, fully remote fintech environment.
- • You will define team objectives, facilitate cross-functional communication, mentor engineers, ensure technical quality through code reviews and AI-assisted practices, and align product backlog with business goals by collaborating with Product Owners on refactoring, performance tuning, and tech debt prioritization.
- • RecargaPay is a profitable, AI-first, 100% remote company serving over 12 million users and processing over USD 4 billion annually, building a digital ecosystem that connects banked and unbanked Brazilians through innovative payment, lending, and financial services.
- • You will grow as a technical leader by shaping team culture, driving continuous improvement through retrospectives, influencing company-wide technology strategy, and gaining deep exposure to complex financial domains like payments, lending, and fraud prevention while mentoring high-performing engineers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of leading teams and working in product-driven companies
- • Hands-on experience in backend (Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS) and optionally frontend development, with a track record of delivering scalable systems
- • Experience guiding and leading teams to successful project deliveries within deadlines and budgets
- • Ability to evaluate and prioritize technical work based on business value, system health, and long-term platform goals
- • Experience conducting code reviews, driving knowledge sharing, and promoting collaborative development practices
- • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with agile methodologies
