- • Lead a team of QA engineers in designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies for enterprise AI-driven products built on the HelixAI platform.
- • Define and enforce quality standards across all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of AI-native applications.
- • Collaborate directly with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and data scientists to integrate quality assurance practices into agile delivery pipelines.
- • Architect and maintain automated test frameworks using modern tools and technologies to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops in CI/CD environments.
- • Drive the adoption of shift-left testing practices to identify defects earlier in development, reducing technical debt and accelerating time-to-market.
- • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning within the QA team.
- • Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection rates.
- • Analyze test results and quality metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, influencing product roadmap decisions and release readiness.
- • Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality requirements in regulated domains such as healthcare and financial services.
- • Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to configure and optimize test environments that mirror production systems for accurate validation.
- • Champion end-to-end test automation for AI models, including data validation, model performance monitoring, and drift detection.
- • Represent QA engineering in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release retrospectives, advocating for quality as a shared responsibility.
- • Document and standardize QA processes, test cases, and defect management workflows to ensure consistency across global Helix Pods.
- • Stay current with emerging trends in AI testing, including generative AI validation, ethical AI auditing, and explainability testing.
- • Communicate complex technical quality issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
- • Lead root cause analysis for critical production defects and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- • Ensure all testing activities align with 3Pillar’s Helix Pods delivery model, enabling portable, open, and sustainable AI solutions for clients in financial services, healthcare, media, and technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior QA Engineer in enterprise software or AI product development
- • Strong hands-on expertise in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- • Demonstrated ability to design and implement CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines
- • Experience leading QA teams in agile environments with distributed or global teams
- • Deep understanding of testing AI/ML systems, including data validation, model performance, and bias detection
- • Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services and associated compliance requirements
