- • The Vertical Vice President, Technology is a senior technology leader responsible for driving engineering execution, operational excellence, and organizational capability across the Wedding & Events Vertical, which includes BridalLive, Total Party Planner, and Aisle Planner.
- • The role involves leading end-to-end engineering execution across multiple SaaS products, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery aligned with product roadmaps and business priorities, while accelerating development through AI-assisted engineering practices such as code generation, testing automation, and release optimization.
- • The position requires establishing and upholding standards for code quality, system performance, scalability, and security, implementing best practices for automated testing, observability, incident response, and operational readiness, and driving platform modernization and technical debt reduction across the portfolio.
- • The VP will partner closely with Product and business leaders to strategically leverage AI and automation to increase engineering velocity, accelerate delivery of high-value features, support customer acquisition and retention, and create monetizable product capabilities.
- • The role includes directly managing Engineering Managers, building and scaling high-performing teams, driving recruiting and retention, evolving organizational structure to support scale, and fostering a culture of craftsmanship, ownership, and continuous improvement through data and automation.

🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership
- • Experience leading multiple teams or products within a SaaS environment
- • Proven track record delivering scalable, customer-facing software platforms
- • Strong experience building and developing Engineering Managers
- • Demonstrated success improving delivery predictability, operational performance, and engineering quality
- • Experience implementing AI-enabled product capabilities, developer productivity tooling, or automation at scale
