Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the visual identity and user experience of Double the Donation’s public website, transforming it into a high-impact lead-generation engine that helps nonprofits and educational institutions discover how to double every gift they receive.
- • Design and continuously optimize conversion-focused landing pages for paid media campaigns, product launches, webinars, and partner co-marketing initiatives—each page must clearly explain complex workplace-giving concepts in seconds and drive qualified demo requests.
- • Audit, redesign, and A/B-test existing site pages to improve clarity, accessibility, and conversion performance; use data from GA4, Hotjar, and HubSpot to prioritize changes that deliver measurable lifts in click-through and form-submission rates.
- • Translate marketing messaging and sales collateral into intuitive web experiences—partner daily with Growth, Content, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure every headline, graphic, and CTA aligns with campaign goals and speaks directly to nonprofit decision-makers.
- • Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma—components, typography, color palettes, and interaction patterns—that empowers non-designers to spin up on-brand pages quickly while you focus on high-impact strategic work.
- • Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and mobile-first best practices across all web properties; conduct quarterly audits and remediate issues so every fundraiser, regardless of ability or device, can engage with our content.
- • Collaborate with the Philippines-based engineering pod to hand off pixel-perfect specs, responsive breakpoints, and lightweight animations that load fast and render flawlessly on legacy browsers common in school districts.
- • Create micro-interactions and storytelling moments—animated stats, donor-impact counters, interactive calculators—that emotionally connect prospects to the mission and nudge them toward booking a demo or starting a free trial.
- • Maintain rigorous QA standards: cross-browser/device testing, performance budgets (<2.5s LCP), and SEO hygiene (semantic HTML, schema markup, alt text) so the site ranks for high-intent keywords like “corporate matching gifts.”
- • Report weekly on design KPIs—conversion rate, bounce rate, average session duration, and demo-request velocity—presenting insights and next-step hypotheses to the leadership team in concise Loom videos.
- • Contribute to the broader Foundry for Good design culture: run monthly show-and-tell sessions, document learnings in Notion, and mentor junior contractors on UX best practices and career growth.
- • Embrace a remote-first workflow—overlap at least 4 hours with US Eastern time for real-time collaboration, then enjoy deep-focus blocks to craft world-class experiences from anywhere with reliable internet.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional web/UI design experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments with complex products.
- • Portfolio demonstrating measurable impact on lead generation or conversion optimization—show before/after metrics and explain your design rationale.
- • Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and responsive design principles; familiarity with HTML/CSS and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
- • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; able to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders and incorporate feedback quickly.
- • Comfortable working remotely across time zones and managing 42.5 billable hours per week with minimal supervision.
🏖️ Benefits
- • 20 paid vacation days + 5 sick days + 15 Life Leave days annually (Life Leave can be cashed out each December at ~$300 per 5 days).
- • 7 paid US holidays and a company contribution toward health insurance premiums.
- • Fully remote setup with flexible scheduling and a one-time home-office stipend.
- • Access to Employee Giving Programs—matching gifts and volunteer grants—so you can amplify the causes you care about.
