About Denver Health and Hospital Authority

Denver Health and Hospital Authority is a public, integrated safety-net health system serving the City and County of Denver. It operates a 525-bed acute-care hospital, Level I trauma center, 10 community health centers, public health programs, and the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Safety center. The system provides comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral, and emergency services regardless of patients’ ability to pay. It also trains health professionals as the primary teaching affiliate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
