  • As a Care Advisor at Function Health (formerly Ezra), you will be the linchpin of our operational excellence, ensuring every member experiences a seamless and supportive journey through our early cancer detection program. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our advanced AI-powered MRI screenings and the individual needs of our members, demanding a blend of meticulous backend operations and empathetic customer engagement.
  • You will be instrumental in orchestrating the complex workflow that guides members from initial contact through their screening appointment and beyond. This involves proactive management of all backend operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every step. Your dedication to process will directly impact the quality of service and the overall member experience.
  • A core aspect of your role will be partnering closely with our network of imaging facilities. This collaboration ensures that members are scheduled appropriately, all necessary paperwork is prepared in advance, and radiology reports and images are retrieved promptly upon completion. Your ability to maintain strong relationships with these sites will be crucial for operational fluidity.
  • You will be expected to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Function Health's standard operating procedures (SOPs). Applying these SOPs consistently will be key to delivering high-quality service. Furthermore, you will contribute to refining these procedures by documenting best practices and identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement across the team.
  • A significant part of your contribution will involve driving operational efficiency. You will continuously seek opportunities to eliminate manual tasks, streamline workflows, and implement innovative solutions that enhance both operational speed and member satisfaction. This proactive approach to process improvement is highly valued.
  • While primarily an operational role, you will also serve as the primary point of contact for Function Health members who encounter any difficulties or have questions throughout their screening journey. Your ability to provide clear, empathetic, and timely support will be essential in building trust and ensuring a positive member experience.
  • You will proactively reach out to members to secure any missing medical information that may be required prior to their scan appointment. This diligence helps prevent delays and ensures that the clinical team has all the necessary context for accurate reporting.
  • Acting as a liaison for site-related issues, you will facilitate quick and effective resolutions. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges with our partner facilities to minimize disruption to the member experience.
  • Close collaboration with the clinical team is paramount. You will ensure seamless information flow and handoffs between operational tasks and clinical review, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the screening process.
  • You will play a vital role in product development by providing invaluable frontline insights. By identifying opportunities for improvement and reporting issues encountered during daily operations, you will directly contribute to the evolution of our technology and services, making them more robust and user-friendly.

🎯 Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in a customer service and operations role, demonstrating a strong track record of managing complex workflows and providing excellent member support.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, providing a solid foundation for analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability in operational excellence, with strong process management skills and the capacity to execute multi-step workflows accurately and efficiently.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly empathetic and resourceful, with exceptional interpersonal skills to understand and proactively address customer needs and operational challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail, enabling effective multitasking and prioritization of multiple competing demands.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and member satisfaction.
