• This specific role places you at the forefront of developing sophisticated websites for a major American investment client within the financial market. You will be an integral part of a dedicated development squad, working 100% on-site at our Campinas office. Your primary focus will be on building, enhancing, and maintaining robust applications that provide clients with comprehensive information and seamless features for purchasing a wide array of financial products, including mutual funds, ETFs, retirement plans, and bonds. • As a Mid-level Node.js Developer, your responsibilities will be multifaceted and crucial to the success of the project. You will actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation and deployment. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with the client team, fostering strong communication and ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives. You will be instrumental in building new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring the overall health and performance of the applications. • Adhering to security and performance best practices will be paramount. You will contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient application environment, implementing measures to protect sensitive financial data and optimize user experience. • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure application integrity.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Integrate applications with various third-party services and internal systems.
• Work closely with the client team, understanding their requirements and providing technical guidance and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve development processes and product offerings.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, managing individual tasks effectively.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering knowledge sharing and mutual support.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in back-end development using Node.js.
• Proven experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a strong preference for AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency for effective communication in a client-facing role.
• Willingness to learn and work with Java language as part of the project requirements.
