đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Lead Software Engineer at Exadel, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for a leading European provider of e-tendering and procurement systems. This is a pivotal role where you will leverage your extensive Java expertise and cloud-native skills to drive the technical direction of critical projects, impacting government and enterprise clients across Europe.
  • • You will be instrumental in producing high-quality, maintainable code using Java best practices, ensuring the robustness and scalability of our client's e-procurement platform. This involves not just writing code, but architecting and implementing solutions that meet stringent performance, security, and reliability standards.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve data integration and processing. You will be responsible for collecting data from diverse external sources and the client's existing services, consolidating it into a unified, accessible source. This will enable more efficient operations and informed decision-making for users.
  • • You will design and build sophisticated services for data processing, incorporating manual data entry where necessary, but with a strong emphasis on automation. Your goal will be to streamline and automate as much of the existing manual workload as possible, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing the potential for human error.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with a cross-functional development team, transforming static designs and prototypes into fully functional, user-friendly applications. Your input will be invaluable in providing constructive feedback to optimize implementation strategies and enhance overall usability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • • You will tackle technical challenges of varying scope and complexity, devising innovative and effective solutions. This requires a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • • A crucial part of your leadership responsibility will be to collaborate with management to define project priorities, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies. This proactive approach ensures projects stay on track and deliver maximum value.
  • • You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and currency of all relevant processes, procedures, and product documentation. Clear, up-to-date documentation is essential for team alignment and long-term project success.
  • • Your involvement will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and development through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. This holistic view allows for continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving business needs.
  • • As a Lead Software Engineer, you will provide essential technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, guiding architectural decisions, and fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team. You will be a go-to person for complex technical issues and strategic guidance.
  • • You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, advocating for best practices in areas such as code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • • The role demands a proactive mindset, a passion for clean code, and a commitment to delivering robust, scalable, and secure software solutions that drive business value for our clients.
  • • You will be working with modern architecture types and leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment.
  • • Your expertise in cloud platforms, specifically AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway, will be critical in building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • • You will also be expected to have a solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, and experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
  • • Ensuring the implementation of non-functional requirements, including security, performance, and scalability, will be a core responsibility, safeguarding the client's critical systems.
  • • You will contribute to the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like CDK, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible, further enhancing deployment and management efficiency.
