Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • The Manager of Brokerage Risk leads the risk team responsible for monitoring and managing risk across the brokerage business, ensuring trading activity is supervised, controls are effective in real time, and risk exposures are understood and managed at both the account and firm level. This role is critical to protecting clients and the firm by providing leadership to Risk Analysts and partnering with the Trade Desk, Operations, and Compliance to make risk decisions that safeguard operations while supporting business growth.
- • You will provide hands-on leadership to Risk Analysts, coach and mentor team members to ensure consistent execution and control discipline, and establish clear supervision routines, accountability, and performance standards across the risk function. You’ll oversee daily operations including intraday monitoring and escalation coverage, supervise discretionary interventions and escalation decisions in coordination with the Trade Desk, and ensure timely response to high-risk events before forced liquidation when appropriate.
- • You will monitor aggregate exposure across all client accounts, including product concentration and correlated risk behavior, recommend adjustments to risk thresholds and monitoring triggers as volume scales, and partner with clearing and brokerage counterparts to ensure risk parameters remain aligned. You’ll own escalation standards, override controls, and incident response protocols, ensuring all risk events are logged, reviewed, and closed with documented mitigations, and lead post-mortems and controls improvements following operational or market stress events.
- • You will oversee maintenance and continuous improvement of risk tools, reporting dashboards, and monitoring workflows, drive risk automation initiatives and KPI development to strengthen oversight maturity, and compile exposure and trend reporting for Brokerage leadership and executive review. This role requires strong knowledge of futures markets, disciplined judgment under pressure, and a practical approach to risk execution and governance, championing a customer-centric approach while maintaining and optimizing rigorous risk controls.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in brokerage risk management, futures supervision, and FCM risk operations, gaining leadership experience in a fast-paced financial environment. You’ll build scalable risk monitoring practices that are operationally sound, regulatory-ready, and aligned with industry best practices, positioning yourself as a trusted risk leader within the organization and the broader futures industry.

- • Advanced Excel skills and analytical capability
- • Experience working with professional financial institutions and in the trading industry, with futures markets preferred
- • Excellent judgment, integrity, and ability to lead decisively under pressure
- • Strong communication skills across Trade Desk, Operations, Compliance, and external partners
