Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Analytics Engineer at SoSafe GmbH, you will own the transformation layer in dbt, designing, building, and maintaining modular, well-tested data models that define how data is structured and consumed across the company, directly enabling reliable analytics and AI-driven insights that support the mission to combat cybercrime by turning employees into the strongest line of defence.
• • Day to day, you will define and implement core business metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, retention) as reusable, versioned data assets; model complex SaaS data by integrating product events, CRM (Salesforce), and support data into clean fact and dimension models; build and evolve the semantic layer to support downstream consumers including LLM-based analytics agents; collaborate with Data Engineers on upstream data contracts and event schemas; establish and enforce best practices in testing, documentation, and data quality; and document models, metrics, and lineage clearly to enable self-service and reduce ambiguity across teams.
