• • Public Cloud Group (PCG) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Azure Cloud Consultant (m/w/d) to join our growing Azure team in the DACH region. • • As an Azure Cloud Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through their cloud transformation journeys. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and efficiency. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from startups to large enterprises, and to contribute to cutting-edge cloud projects.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert consulting services to clients, advising them on their cloud strategy and the adoption of Azure services. This involves understanding their business objectives, technical challenges, and current IT landscape to propose tailored cloud solutions. You will be involved in all phases of client projects, from initial assessment and conceptualization to implementation and post-migration support. While much of your work can be done remotely, occasional on-site client visits will be required to foster strong relationships and ensure project success.
• • A key aspect of this role is the conceptualization and design of robust Azure architectures. You will develop comprehensive migration strategies, define clear roadmaps, and meticulously coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT departments, business leaders, and third-party vendors. This requires a holistic understanding of cloud principles and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
• • You will be responsible for extending and enhancing Azure cloud architectures, integrating a wide array of Azure services. This includes implementing and managing core services, as well as incorporating advanced solutions such as DevOps pipelines, security frameworks, and data analytics platforms. A strong focus will be placed on leveraging automation to streamline operations and ensure consistency across environments.
• • Automation is at the heart of modern cloud operations. You will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure resources. This includes developing and implementing scripts and templates to automate repetitive tasks, enforce compliance, and accelerate deployment cycles. Adhering to and promoting best practices in IaC will be crucial for maintaining efficient and reliable cloud environments.
• • You will take on technical leadership responsibilities during Azure migration projects. This involves overseeing the technical execution, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and working collaboratively within agile development teams. Your expertise will guide the team towards successful project completion, ensuring that migrations are performed smoothly and with minimal disruption to business operations.
• • Post-migration, you will play a vital role in the handover to our Managed Cloud Operations team. This involves ensuring that the implemented solutions are well-documented, easily manageable, and seamlessly integrated into ongoing operational processes. Your contribution will guarantee that clients benefit from stable, secure, and efficiently managed cloud environments long after the initial migration is complete.
