• • Join Checkly Group Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure, a pivotal role within an early-stage, remote-first DevTool SaaS company. You will be instrumental in shaping the product roadmap and contributing to the development of the #1 monitoring platform for developers. This position offers the opportunity to empower engineers globally to own and ensure application performance and reliability, from the initial pull request through to post-mortem analysis.
• • As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with highly skilled Staff and Senior Engineers, contributing to the evolution and optimization of our sophisticated hybrid infrastructure. This infrastructure, a blend of AWS and bare metal, is critical for securely running sandboxed code and AI Agents while maintaining industry-leading cost efficiency. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the platform's scalability, security, and performance.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves deep-dive investigations into customer and infrastructure problems. You will work collaboratively to diagnose issues, potentially down to the packet capture and process memory level, ensuring that our customers can place unwavering trust in the Checkly platform. This hands-on problem-solving is essential for maintaining our reputation for reliability.
• • You will play a crucial role in enhancing infrastructure reliability, ensuring that our systems remain responsive and performant for both ad hoc and scheduled workloads. This includes proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues, preventing cost overruns, and maintaining system stability under demanding conditions.
• • Collaboration with product engineers is a core responsibility. You will work closely with them to enhance the overall developer experience, support our strong shipping culture, and provide the necessary observability tools and insights that enable them to build and maintain high-quality software.
• • Checkly is at the forefront of unifying performance and reliability through technologies like OpenTelemetry, Playwright, and Monitoring as Code.
