• **What You’ll Do Day-to-Day**
• **Build and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure**: You will design, deploy, and manage the cloud-based infrastructure that powers Nozomi Networks’ cybersecurity solutions. This includes ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our globally distributed services.
• **Enhance Availability and Performance**: Develop and implement solutions to improve the availability, performance, and stability of our services. This involves proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• **Automate Deployment and Operations**: Champion automation across application deployment, maintenance, and operational tasks. You will leverage infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention.
• **Troubleshoot Across the Stack**: Diagnose and resolve issues spanning the entire technology stack, from network and operating system layers to application-level challenges. Your problem-solving skills will be critical in maintaining seamless service delivery.
• **Optimize Cloud Costs**: Implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring performance remains uncompromised. This includes analyzing cloud expenditure, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending optimizations to balance cost and performance.
• **Drive Incident Response and Post-Mortems**: Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and conduct post-incident analyses in a no-blame culture. Your insights will help prevent future issues and improve system resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• **Proven Professional Experience**: Demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer, with a track record of building and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.
• **Expertise in Kubernetes**: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• **Cloud Provider Proficiency**: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, including knowledge of cloud services, security, and cost optimization.
• **Programming Skills**: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go) to automate tasks, develop tools, and integrate systems.
• **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**: Experience defining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage cloud resources efficiently.
• **CI/CD Pipeline Experience**: Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to enable seamless deployment and integration.
• **AI-Enabled Tools**: Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools in daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or decision-making, coupled with the ability to apply sound professional judgment to outputs.
• **Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning**: Ability to diagnose issues across the stack (network, OS, applications) and optimize cloud services for performance and cost.
• **On-Call and Incident Response**: Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and drive post-incident analyses in a collaborative, no-blame culture.
