  • • You will be an integral part of the Global Markets Risk & PnL team, contributing to the development of critical applications for financial resource management and XVA calculations. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value business projects within a demanding and international environment, utilizing a diverse and evolving technology stack with a focus on adopting new technologies that deliver business value.
  • • As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will be broad and impactful. You will actively contribute to the development of new business features, translating complex financial requirements into robust and scalable software solutions. This involves collaborating closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver features that enhance financial risk management and PnL reporting.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be participating in the migration of existing batch processes to a modern, service-oriented architecture. This initiative aims to improve efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of our financial systems, requiring a strategic approach to system design and implementation.
  • • You will also contribute to the rationalization and modernization of our technology stack. This involves evaluating current technologies, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that align with best practices and future technological advancements, ensuring our systems remain competitive and efficient.
  • • Your responsibilities will span both front-end and back-end development within a full-stack context. You will have the opportunity to work on user interfaces using React and Redux, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for financial professionals, as well as developing robust back-end services using C# and .NET.
  • • The technical environment is rich and dynamic, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API, MS SQL Server/Oracle, TypeScript, React, Redux, agGrid, Tailwind, and asynchronous communication patterns with Rebus. You will leverage ORMs like Dapper and technologies such as SignalR for real-time communication. Version control will be managed with GIT (Bitbucket), and continuous integration/delivery will be facilitated by TeamCity.
  • • You will collaborate with international teams based in London, Paris, and Poland, fostering a global and diverse working environment. This cross-cultural collaboration is essential for delivering complex financial solutions to our international clients.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, with experience in developing robust back-end applications.
  • • Strong front-end development skills using React, TypeScript, and Redux, with experience in building interactive user interfaces.
  • • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle, including data modeling and query optimization.
  • • Familiarity with asynchronous communication patterns and message queues (e.g., Rebus).
  • • Experience with version control systems like GIT (Bitbucket).
  • • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices (e.g., TeamCity).
  • • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams.
  • • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • • Previous experience in the finance or banking sector is a significant advantage.
  • • Knowledge of financial concepts related to Risk and PnL, or XVA calculations is highly desirable.
  • • Experience with ORMs such as Dapper.
  • • Familiarity with UI component libraries like agGrid and styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
