- • Serve as the senior client manager for complex, multi-service legal sector contracts, overseeing both strategic direction and operational execution to drive business growth and service excellence.
- • Develop and maintain deep relationships with senior decision-makers at blue-chip legal clients, including investment banks, law firms, and professional services firms, ensuring expectations are not only met but exceeded.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations, resolving critical issues and promptly communicating significant concerns to the Business Director, EMEA Legal.
- • Own the commercial performance and P&L of the assigned legal client portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and profitability enhancement initiatives.
- • Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct detailed monthly financial analysis to track performance against targets, ensuring alignment with revenue and gross profit objectives.
- • Manage end-to-end contract negotiation and re-negotiation processes, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and pro-forma requirements.
- • Identify, develop, and present strategic business opportunities to clients through a consultative sales approach, driving cross-selling and expansion of service offerings.
- • Actively participate in the formation of proposals for business expansion during contract renewals and new business development cycles.
- • Lead operational involvement in the sales process for new client contracts, ensuring seamless introduction and implementation of new services.
- • Continuously review and improve client metrics and reporting frameworks to enhance service delivery transparency and accountability.
- • Strategically allocate resources across client accounts based on profitability, demand, and operational requirements, while maintaining flexible staffing targets.
- • Build and nurture relationships with key vendors, external suppliers, and internal support departments to ensure alignment with client needs and service quality standards.
- • Manage, develop, and retain direct reports through effective performance management, motivation, and succession planning for supervisory and management roles.
- • Ensure consistent and compliant handling of all Human Resources matters for team members across client sites and internal locations.
- • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement by applying best practices in operations, client service, and team leadership.
- • Maintain a strong understanding of the legal industry landscape, including market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting client needs.
- • Collaborate with the EMEA Legal senior management team to support the delivery of company-wide development plans and commercial targets.
- • Exhibit thought leadership by stepping beyond operational detail to drive the broader growth agenda, combining commercial acumen with strategic vision.
- • Demonstrate credibility and gravitas to influence across global teams, client organizations, and internal stakeholders in a corporate, professional services environment.
- • Translate solution concepts from design to viable, profitable implementations with a clear understanding of how day-to-day decisions impact client P&L.
- • Promote internal collaboration across portfolios to leverage growth opportunities and maximize service delivery across all client accounts.
