Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-scale security programs that protect Autodesk’s 12,000+ employees and the intellectual property behind products used by millions of designers, engineers, and creators worldwide.
- • Translate Autodesk’s Trust vision into actionable, multi-quarter roadmaps for the Information Security Engineering group, ensuring every initiative ladders up to corporate OKRs, regulatory mandates, and customer expectations for security and privacy.
- • Partner with senior leaders across Trust, Security, Engineering, IT, Legal, and Product to continuously re-prioritize the portfolio based on threat intelligence, risk assessments, business impact, and user-experience data—balancing “must-ship” security controls with frictionless employee workflows.
- • Drive rigorous quarterly planning rituals that convert high-level strategies into sequenced epics, user stories, and measurable outcomes; maintain living Jira/Confluence backlogs that give teams clarity on scope, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- • Orchestrate complex, cross-functional delivery across time zones and cultures, using Agile-at-scale ceremonies, dependency-mapping, and RAID logs to surface risks early and remove blockers before they derail timelines or budgets.
- • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards that translate technical progress into business language—highlighting velocity, burn-down, risk exposure, and ROI—so VPs and SVPs can make fast, evidence-based investment decisions.
- • Craft crisp, audience-tailored communications (from Slack updates to board-level briefings) that keep 50+ stakeholders aligned on goals, trade-offs, and wins while minimizing meeting overhead and email noise.
- • Facilitate data-driven decision forums where security architects, engineers, product owners, and UX designers debate options, quantify risk vs. usability, and commit to clear next steps with documented owners and deadlines.
- • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by instituting lightweight retrospectives, post-incident reviews, and metrics-driven feedback loops that feed learnings back into future planning cycles.
- • Serve as the “voice of the employee” in security design reviews, ensuring that new controls (MFA rollouts, device posture checks, zero-trust access policies) are rolled out with empathy, clear guidance, and self-service tooling that reduces support tickets.
- • Identify opportunities to automate program management overhead—leveraging generative AI, workflow bots, and templated playbooks—so teams spend more time on high-value security engineering and less on status reporting.
- • Mentor junior program managers and scrum masters across the broader Trust organization, sharing best practices in stakeholder management, risk-based prioritization, and executive storytelling.
- • Represent Autodesk externally at security and program-management conferences, contributing thought-leadership content that showcases how a design-centric company scales security without stifling innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of program-management experience in software or technology, with at least 4 years focused on information-security or enterprise-security initiatives.
- • Demonstrated fluency in security concepts—identity & access management, zero-trust architecture, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cloud-security controls.
- • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders (C-suite, VPs, directors) and drive consensus across engineering, product, legal, and business teams.
- • Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time, within scope, and with measurable security or risk-reduction outcomes.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to executives and distilling technical detail into clear business impact.
- • Nice-to-have: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications; hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and generative-AI productivity tools.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote role anywhere in Canada, with flexible hours and a results-oriented work environment that prioritizes outcomes over face-time.
- • Competitive base salary scaled to experience and geography, plus annual cash bonuses, RSU grants, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
- • Annual professional-development stipend for certifications, conferences, and courses—plus internal mentorship and access to Autodesk’s global security and program-management communities of practice.
- • Generous time-off policy (starting at 20+ days PTO), paid volunteer days, family-leave programs, and an employee stock-purchase plan with company match.
