- • Lead the technical development of a decision intelligence platform, managing global teams of software engineers responsible for high-volume, low-latency processing of streaming analytics capabilities.
- • Drive collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional engineering leaders to align technical execution with business strategy, product priorities, and customer outcomes.
- • Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and continuous improvement by coaching leaders and engineers, improving engineering practices, and hiring top talent across global teams.
- • Ensure end-to-end ownership of software lifecycle—from authoring to execution and observation—while maintaining reliability, serviceability, and alignment with modern software design patterns and cloud-native principles.
- • Represent FICO in prospect/customer meetings and technology supplier collaborations to address evolving platform needs and reinforce market leadership in decision intelligence.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven organization where your work directly impacts critical business decisions in fraud detection, credit scoring, lending, and beyond, helping global enterprises leverage AI/ML for smarter outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience designing, building, deploying, and operating commercial software integrating sophisticated AI/ML stateful algorithms with real-time aggregations executing in low milliseconds.
- • Proven leadership of software teams developing in Typescript, Java, and Python, with ability to perform engineering tasks alongside the team.
- • Expertise in event-driven and microservice architectures, including experience with Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, and distributed processing platforms like Storm, Flink, or Spark.
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- • Experience coaching and mentoring individuals and teams globally, driving agile execution using program management tools, and supporting production software deployments.
