Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of new credit acquisition channels including affiliate programs (e.g., Credit Karma, NerdWallet), invitation-to-apply emails, paid social, display advertising, direct mail, and instant prescreens.
- • Define and optimize credit risk parameters, underwriting criteria, and targeting strategies for each acquisition channel in close partnership with credit policy, risk, data science, and marketing teams.
- • Build and validate business cases that link application volume to credit outcomes such as approval rates, vintage loss forecasts, contribution profit, CAC, LTV, and LTV-to-CAC ratios to secure leadership alignment on channel viability.
- • Partner with data science to influence and refine targeting models, segmenting audiences based on credit performance signals and portfolio quality metrics to improve acquisition efficiency.
- • Monitor post-launch channel performance using SQL to pull and analyze data cohorts, identify early warning signals in credit quality, and adjust risk parameters or targeting criteria in real time.
- • Collaborate with General Managers and brand partners (e.g., Crate & Barrel, Booking.com, H-E-B, Shell) to tailor acquisition strategies that align partner growth objectives with Imprint’s credit quality standards.
- • Translate complex credit and financial metrics into clear, actionable narratives for cross-functional stakeholders including finance, leadership, and external brand teams.
- • Establish and lead a structured test-and-learn cadence for channel experimentation, delivering regular readouts on both acquisition volume and credit performance to drive iterative improvement.
- • Ensure all acquisition strategies remain within approved LTV-to-CAC thresholds and align with Imprint’s operating plan, loss budgets, and risk appetite.
- • Launch at least one new acquisition channel within the first 90 days with measurable performance data, clear targeting criteria, and validated credit economics.
- • Develop proof-of-concept models for affiliate partnerships and invitation-to-apply programs, modeling acquisition economics against expected credit performance and portfolio impact.
- • Independently pull, clean, and analyze data using SQL to diagnose channel performance, evaluate credit quality by segment, and inform strategic decisions without reliance on data engineering teams.
- • Maintain accountability for credit risk outcomes across all acquisition channels while balancing growth targets with portfolio integrity and regulatory compliance.
- • Serve as the primary bridge between marketing-driven acquisition goals and credit risk discipline, ensuring decisions are data-backed, financially sound, and aligned with long-term portfolio health.
🎯 Requirements

- • Advanced proficiency in SQL to independently pull and analyze data for cohort building, performance diagnosis, and strategy refinement
- • Proven experience building business cases that connect acquisition performance to credit outcomes and portfolio economics
- • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across risk, marketing, finance, and data science to drive acquisition outcomes
- • High ownership and bias for action with a track record of launching new initiatives from concept to execution
