- • Develop deeply engaging Tutorials, Problem Statements, and Problem Solutions for each physics lecture series to translate high-level lecturer vision into clear, student-ready materials.
- • Design fully interactive and technically accurate virtual labs in close collaboration with the Simulation Team to enhance conceptual understanding through hands-on digital experiences.
- • Compile, polish, and finalize lecture notes from drafts and transcripts, ensuring mathematical equations, diagrams, and visual elements are precise, consistent, and pedagogically effective.
- • Own the end-to-end content pipeline—from initial drafting to final formatting—incorporating feedback from the Physics Team and Engineering Team to refine course artifacts.
- • Coordinate directly with the Physics Team to validate scientific accuracy and with the Engineering Team to ensure all content assets are optimized for integration with the AI tutor system.
- • Brainstorm, draft, revise, and iterate on course materials through multiple rounds of feedback to maximize clarity, engagement, and learning outcomes.
- • Apply research-backed teaching methods to identify common student misconceptions and design targeted interventions that address specific points of confusion.
- • Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation efficiency, improve instructional design, and make learning more interactive and enjoyable for students.
- • Ensure all educational materials align with undergraduate and graduate-level physics curricula, maintaining rigor while improving accessibility and comprehension.
- • Translate complex physical concepts into intuitive, step-by-step explanations that guide students from initial exposure to mastery through structured problem-solving.
- • Maintain consistency in notation, terminology, and pedagogical approach across all course components, including tutorials, problem sets, solutions, and virtual lab instructions.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum by analyzing student performance data and feedback to inform iterative updates to content.
- • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align curriculum goals with technological capabilities and pedagogical objectives across teams.
- • Stay current with advancements in physics education and AI-assisted learning to continuously elevate the quality and innovation of course materials.
- • Produce high-fidelity, publication-ready educational content that serves as the foundation for an AI-driven tutoring platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • MSc in Physics (PhD highly preferred)
- • Minimum 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience with undergraduate and graduate physics students
- • Proven ability to design engaging problem-based learning materials, including tutorials, problem statements, and solutions
