📋 Description

• Provide L2/L3 production support for the firm’s global cryptocurrency trading exchange platform, ensuring 24x7 operational stability and performance.
• Own and manage the production environment for all key business lines including Exchange platform, Risk management system, Backoffice, Market data, and non-trading systems.
• Respond to and resolve critical production incidents, outages, and performance degradation with urgency and precision to minimize business impact.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical support actions.
• Monitor system health using monitoring tools and alerting systems to proactively detect and address anomalies before they escalate.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent fixes or workarounds to improve system reliability.
• Document incident resolutions, system configurations, and operational procedures to maintain up-to-date knowledge bases for the support team.
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy patches, updates, and configuration changes in production with minimal downtime.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours and weekend support for critical systems across global time zones.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and security protocols in all support activities.
• Maintain accurate logs of all support tickets, escalations, and system changes in the designated ticketing and tracking systems.
• Assist in the testing and validation of new features or system upgrades in staging environments prior to production rollout.
• Communicate incident status and resolution timelines clearly to business stakeholders and management during critical events.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve support efficiency through scripting or tooling enhancements.
• Maintain deep familiarity with the firm’s proprietary trading systems, data flows, and integration points across platforms.
• Work closely with global teams across regions to ensure consistent support standards and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and data handling policies due to the sensitive nature of cryptocurrency trading systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in L2/L3 production support for high-availability financial or trading systems
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency exchange platforms, market data feeds, or risk management systems
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with on-call responsibilities
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex system issues under pressure
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools in production environments
• Solid grasp of Unix/Linux systems and command-line tools
