- • Provide L2/L3 production support for the firm’s global cryptocurrency trading exchange platform, ensuring 24x7 operational stability and performance.
- • Own and manage the production environment for all key business lines including the Exchange platform, Risk management system, Backoffice systems, Market data feeds, and non-trading activities.
- • Respond to and resolve critical production incidents in real-time, minimizing downtime and impact on trading operations.
- • Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical support actions.
- • Monitor system health through alerting tools and dashboards, proactively identifying and mitigating potential failures before they affect users.
- • Perform root cause analysis on recurring or complex incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- • Maintain and update technical documentation for systems, procedures, and escalation paths to ensure knowledge continuity across the team.
- • Work closely with development teams to validate fixes, test deployments, and ensure smooth transitions from staging to production.
- • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for critical systems, responding to alerts and outages outside standard business hours.
- • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to system integrity, access management, and incident response.
- • Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new tools, technologies, or vendor solutions that enhance system reliability and support efficiency.
- • Communicate incident status and resolution updates clearly to business stakeholders and technical teams during high-pressure situations.
- • Contribute to capacity planning by analyzing system usage trends and recommending infrastructure or configuration adjustments.
- • Maintain a strong focus on security best practices when accessing, modifying, or monitoring production systems.
- • Support the continuous improvement of support processes through feedback loops, retrospectives, and automation opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in L2/L3 production support for high-availability financial or trading systems
- • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency exchange platforms, market data feeds, or risk management systems
- • Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with on-call responsibilities
- • Proficiency in monitoring tools, log analysis, and incident response workflows
- • Solid troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking, and database systems
- • Experience working in fast-paced, low-latency trading environments
