  • • As a Hybrid Technical Account Manager (TAM) and Solution Architect within the APAC Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will assume end-to-end technical ownership for Mattermost-based solutions, serving customers and partners across Australia, Singapore, and other select APAC markets.
  • • This pivotal role is specifically focused on high-security environments, including defence, intelligence, public sector, and critical infrastructure organizations, where secure and reliable collaboration is paramount.
  • • You will expertly blend architectural responsibilities with leadership, hands-on delivery, and strategic ownership of key technology and system integrator partnerships to establish and maintain secure, self-hosted collaboration platforms in mission-critical scenarios.
  • • The role is structured with a 30% focus on TAM responsibilities and a 70% focus on Solution Architect duties, emphasizing your expertise in designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
  • • You will lead the technical delivery of secure Mattermost solutions, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements of defence, public sector, critical infrastructure, and security-focused organizations.
  • • A core part of your role will involve conducting in-depth requirements and architecture workshops with IT, security, and business teams, translating their strategic goals and operational constraints into robust, scalable, and secure solution architectures.
  • • You will be responsible for designing comprehensive end-to-end architectures tailored for high-security environments, encompassing both on-premises deployments and sovereign cloud solutions.
  • • This includes deep dives into network integration, Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies such as Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML/OIDC, and LDAP integration, as well as robust logging, monitoring, and data protection mechanisms.
  • • You will manage the entire technical lifecycle of these solutions, from initial concept and proof-of-concept (PoC) development through pilot phases, production transitions, and subsequent scale-out initiatives.
  • • Developing and delivering compelling technical demonstrations, use-case presentations, and hands-on operational workshops will be crucial for customer and partner enablement.
  • • You will own the technical sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), security questionnaires, and architecture reviews, working collaboratively with Sales, Product, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate responses.
  • • Representing Mattermost at industry events, conferences, and in direct engagements with customer stakeholders, defence contractors, and government authorities will be a key aspect of building trust and driving adoption.
  • • Building and nurturing strong relationships with hyperscalers, technology partners, and system integrators is essential for expanding the Mattermost ecosystem and delivering integrated solutions.
  • • You will play a vital role in enabling these partners through comprehensive training, the development of reference architectures, and the creation of reusable assets to accelerate their success with Mattermost.
  • • Providing valuable product feedback and contributing reusable assets to the Product and Engineering teams will help shape the future direction of the Mattermost platform.
  • • Serving as the primary technical point of contact for assigned key accounts, you will ensure their ongoing success and satisfaction with the Mattermost solution.
  • • Collaborating effectively across internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and accelerate the secure deployment of Mattermost solutions will be critical for customer retention and growth.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of secure collaboration in highly sensitive sectors, leveraging an open, self-hosted platform to meet the most demanding requirements.
  • • You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Mattermost within critical industries, ensuring data sovereignty, operational control, and enhanced security for our most important clients.
  • • Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of mission-critical workflows, from tactical edge operations to enterprise-level security and DevSecOps initiatives.
  • • By bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and practical, secure solutions, you will be a key enabler of secure communication and collaboration for organizations operating at the forefront of national security and critical infrastructure.
