- • Own the full new business sales cycle for net-new logos, from outbound prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- • Sell Statista’s core products including platform licenses, seat-based subscriptions, and multi-year agreements with a focus on long-term customer value
- • Identify and engage decision-makers across Marketing, Strategy, Insights, Finance, Consulting, and Executive leadership teams
- • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand client use cases such as market sizing, competitive analysis, consumer insights, and pitch support
- • Deliver tailored demos and presentations highlighting Statista’s data breadth, global coverage, and analytical capabilities
- • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business targets
- • Partner with SDRs, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to drive outbound campaigns and follow up on event leads
- • Accurately forecast and manage pipeline using Salesforce and other sales tools
- • Stay current on Statista’s product enhancements, premium content, and custom research offerings
- • Position Statista as a must-have intelligence partner by demonstrating value beyond price in consultative, insight-led sales motions
- • Navigate complex buying groups and longer sales cycles to close multi-seat and enterprise-wide license agreements
- • Establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects prior to closing deals
- • Achieve consistent new logo and revenue targets through high-quality outbound activity and discovery conversations
- • Expand Statista’s footprint within new organizations by securing multi-year and multi-seat licensing agreements
- • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales strategy with marketing initiatives and product updates
- • Represent Statista professionally in all client interactions, reflecting the company’s commitment to data-driven decision-making
- • Adapt sales approach based on industry-specific needs and organizational hierarchies of target clients
- • Proactively identify and pursue new market opportunities within assigned verticals and geographies
- • Maintain deep understanding of Statista’s data products and how they solve real-world business challenges
- • Communicate client feedback and market insights to internal product and content teams
- • Balance high-volume prospecting with strategic account development to maximize conversion rates
- • Uphold Statista’s values of integrity, diversity, and fact-based decision-making in all customer engagements
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–6+ years of B2B new business sales experience, ideally in data, SaaS, research, or subscription-based products
- • Proven success closing net-new logos and managing full-cycle sales
- • Comfort selling value, not just price—especially in consultative, insight-led sales motions
- • Strong executive presence and ability to sell to senior stakeholders
- • Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
- • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales tools
