📋 Description

  • As an Account Manager at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our comprehensive vision care solutions.
  • This pivotal role involves cultivating and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and consultants, understanding their unique needs, and strategically aligning VSP's products and services to meet and exceed those requirements.
  • You will be instrumental in driving client retention and fostering account growth by effectively marketing the value proposition of VSP's programs, products, and services, and by facilitating client-specific marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with Market Directors, you will develop and execute strategic account plans, outlining clear objectives for communication, growth, and retention, ensuring a proactive and results-oriented approach to client management.
  • A key responsibility will be to develop and maintain a deep understanding of compliance-related matters, including state and federal regulations or mandates pertinent to your client base, ensuring VSP's offerings remain compliant and that clients are well-informed.
  • You will actively participate in crucial client-facing meetings, whether conducted in-person or virtually, such as Client Partnership Reviews, finalist presentations, site visits, and other engagement opportunities as dictated by client needs and strategic importance.
  • The role demands meticulous management of the client implementation process, working collaboratively with internal and external business partners to ensure accounts are set up according to VSP's stringent requirements and performance standards, while also addressing any custom client needs.
  • You will oversee the management of client contracts, compliance documentation, and related materials, including evidence of coverage and summary plan descriptions, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
  • A significant aspect of the role involves the collaborative development and execution of client and member communication strategies, including the deployment of relevant collateral, to enhance engagement and understanding of VSP's benefits.
  • You will be responsible for the compilation and timely distribution of client reports, interpreting reporting requirements, and effectively presenting this data to clients to demonstrate value and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactive monitoring of client accounts is essential to identify potential issues before they escalate. You will be expected to escalate client concerns to the appropriate internal business partners and drive swift, effective solutions.
  • This position contributes to VSP's overarching goal of developing efficient and effective processes that enhance customer service and support strategic business initiatives, requiring a commitment to continuous process improvement.
  • You will leverage your strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence both internal and external business partners, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes client success.
  • The ability to manage multiple concurrent account implementations, client/broker/consultant requests, and diverse business needs simultaneously is critical for success in this dynamic role.
  • Developing and maintaining a robust understanding of VSP's business objectives, product portfolio, service offerings, operational processes, the competitive landscape, and the broader business environment will be key to providing strategic guidance to clients.
  • Adaptability and resilience are paramount, as you will need to quickly adapt to change and thrive within an agile work environment, consistently demonstrating proven problem identification and solving capabilities.
  • A foundational knowledge of insurance platform technologies will be beneficial in understanding the technical aspects of VSP's offerings and client integrations.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on client satisfaction, retention, and the overall growth of VSP's market presence, acting as a vital link between VSP and its valued clients.
