- • As a vital member of our close-knit team, you will specialize in the dynamic music business, serving a distinguished clientele primarily composed of touring artists, accomplished producers, talented songwriters, and innovative independent labels. - • The Account Manager role is central to the seamless management of the day-to-day financial operations for an assigned roster of high-profile clients. You will operate in close collaboration with our experienced Managers and Partners, acting as the principal liaison and trusted advisor for clients and their dedicated teams.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive financial oversight, proactive client communication, and meticulous coordination across all facets of business management. This includes, but is not limited to, expert bookkeeping, diligent accounts payable and receivable management, accurate payroll processing, intricate tour accounting, strategic insurance coordination, precise royalty tracking, insightful tax planning, and overall astute financial management.
- • You will be entrusted with managing the daily financial operations for your portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to best practices.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve the thorough review of bookkeeping work, including the critical reconciliation of bank and credit card statements, to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- • You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, which includes managing bill payments and generating invoices with precision.
- • Serving as the primary point of contact, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives, such as managers, attorneys, and agents, fostering trust and ensuring clear communication.
- • You will meticulously review and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring financial consistency across different entities.
- • The preparation and review of payroll reports will be a core duty, ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time.
- • You will prepare detailed commission schedules, reflecting the financial agreements and performance of clients.
- • You will provide essential assistance with the preparation and review of 1099 forms, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- • As needed, you will support tour accounting functions, providing critical financial reporting and analysis for artists on the road.
- • You will coordinate closely with our dedicated tax team, contributing to effective tax planning strategies and ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax laws.
- • You will assist clients with credit applications and the preparation of other vital financial documentation, supporting their business growth and operational needs.
