Having doubled our customer base in the past year, SewerAI is now poised for an exciting period of accelerated growth, and we are seeking a driven and strategic Account Manager to be a cornerstone of this expansion.
  • As an Account Manager at SewerAI, you will be the primary advocate and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of municipal, contractor, and engineering clients. Your core mission will be to ensure these clients not only achieve tangible, measurable value from our AI-powered platform but also experience successful renewals and actively expand their utilization of our solutions. This role demands a unique blend of exceptional relationship-building acumen, strategic account planning expertise, and a solid technical understanding of our platform's capabilities and the infrastructure sector it serves.
  • You will be instrumental in forging strong, lasting partnerships with our clients, understanding their unique challenges, and aligning SewerAI's technology to deliver outcomes that truly matter to their operations. This involves proactively identifying opportunities for clients to gain even more value, thereby fostering loyalty and driving account growth. Your success will be directly linked to the success of our customers, making this a highly rewarding and impactful position.
  • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with our Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience. By acting as a bridge between our clients' needs and our internal capabilities, you will help drive customer success initiatives, identify product enhancement opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth trajectory of SewerAI. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping our customer-centric strategies.
  • A significant aspect of this role involves contributing to the development and refinement of scalable playbooks and processes. As we grow, establishing best practices for account management is crucial. You will play a vital role in documenting successful strategies, identifying areas for process improvement, and helping to build a robust framework that supports long-term, sustainable growth for the entire customer success organization.
  • Key responsibilities include owning and nurturing customer relationships across a diverse book of business, encompassing SMB, mid-market, and enterprise clients. You will be directly responsible for driving renewals by meticulously ensuring that customers consistently achieve their desired outcomes through the effective use of the SewerAI platform. This requires a deep understanding of their business objectives and how our technology contributes to them.
  • Furthermore, you will proactively identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts, partnering closely with the Sales team to grow revenue and deepen our client relationships. Building strong executive champions within client organizations will be paramount; this involves skillfully aligning the platform's advanced capabilities with the strategic goals and priorities of senior leadership.
  • Conducting regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other business reviews will be essential to reinforce the value SewerAI delivers, showcase achievements, and uncover new potential use cases or areas for deeper engagement. You will also be responsible for managing any escalations that arise, acting as a calm, confident, and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Accurate forecasting of risk and growth within your assigned accounts is critical for business planning. Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our CRM system with up-to-date account information, activities, and forecasts will be a core part of your daily routine. You will collaborate extensively with Sales, Product, and Support teams to identify and remove any blockers that impede customer progress or satisfaction, ensuring a seamless and positive customer journey.
  • Finally, you will actively contribute to building and refining playbooks, best practices, and internal processes that are essential for scaling our account management function effectively as the company continues its rapid expansion.
