📋 Description

• Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial property & casualty (P&C) insurance accounts with annual premiums up to $10MM
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding servicing, renewals, coverage questions, and policy changes
• Own the end-to-end renewal process, including initiating proactive client consultations before quote delivery
• Clearly explain complex insurance terms, pricing structures, and policy modifications in plain language to clients
• Manage client expectations during underwriting delays, market constraints, or carrier issues to protect the client experience
• Resolve client concerns and escalate internal issues promptly to ensure timely resolution and service adherence
• Execute core policy servicing tasks including endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, billing coordination, and cancellations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the AMS and CRM systems
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams to facilitate renewals and servicing outcomes
• Adhere strictly to service standards, SLAs, and escalation protocols to ensure consistent client service quality
• Partner with customer success and tech teams as the insurance subject matter expert to shape product development and operational workflows
• Support the growth and development of in-house brokers and managers through knowledge sharing and process guidance
• Operate autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment with daily software deployments and evolving processes
• Adapt quickly to changing market conditions, carrier policies, and internal system updates while maintaining compliance and accuracy
• Contribute to improving operational efficiency by identifying gaps in workflows and recommending process enhancements
• Work remotely across the United States with working hours aligned to your time zone: 9:00am–6:00pm ET (East Coast) or 8:00am–5:00pm PT (West Coast)
• Utilize advanced CRM and AMS platforms and core business tools to manage client portfolios and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience in account management, brokerage, or customer success
• Active Property & Casualty license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, renewals, endorsements, and servicing requirements
• Proven ability to own the end-to-end renewal process, including proactive client consultations prior to quoting
• Confident client-facing presence with experience managing escalations and protecting the client experience during underwriting or carrier challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in plain language
