  • • As an Account Manager for the APAC region at Remote, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and retention of our existing client base. This role is pivotal in ensuring our small and mid-sized business clients maximize their value from Remote's comprehensive global employment solutions. You will manage the entire sales cycle for your dedicated book of business, from nurturing existing relationships and identifying expansion opportunities to executing strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to present Remote’s suite of services to current customers, demonstrating how our platform can evolve with their needs and create new pathways for revenue growth. This involves a deep understanding of their unique communication and global employment challenges, and the ability to architect tailored solutions that address these specific requirements.
  • • You will own and nurture these customer relationships, maintaining frequent contact and building strategic partnerships that foster loyalty and long-term success. This proactive engagement is key to understanding evolving client needs, developing strategic roadmaps, and soliciting valuable feedback on our products and services to continuously enhance their experience.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve driving customer retention initiatives. This includes participating in strategic events, leading insightful discussions, and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure clients remain satisfied and continue to derive maximum benefit from Remote's offerings.
  • • You will be expected to develop and execute effective sales motions and tactics to consistently grow revenue per account. This requires a keen understanding of the sales process, the ability to identify opportunities, and the skill to close deals that contribute to overall business objectives.
  • • Pipeline management and forecasting are critical components of this role. You will be responsible for confidently developing your sales pipeline, accurately forecasting outcomes, and providing detailed reporting data to management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • • Collaboration is essential. You will work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure the holistic success of our customers. This collaborative approach guarantees that clients receive comprehensive support and that their feedback is integrated into our product development cycle.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to client strategy. You will be empowered to create, execute, and adapt strategies to achieve your sales goals, demonstrating agility and a results-oriented mindset.
  • • You will need to develop a strong understanding of Remote’s services and its competitive position within the industry. This knowledge will enable you to effectively articulate our value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.
  • • As a fully remote position within the APAC region, you will leverage asynchronous communication and flexible working hours to manage your responsibilities effectively. This autonomy requires strong self-motivation, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently while also being an active and contributing member of the global sales team.
  • • You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, managing the entire sales cycle for your assigned accounts, and identifying new expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. Your ability to present Remote’s services compellingly and create new revenue streams from existing customers will be paramount.
  • • Understanding the specific communication needs of small and mid-sized businesses is crucial, as you will be designing solutions tailored to these unique requirements. Generating customer retention initiatives and participating in key strategic events will further nurture these vital relationships.
  • • Ultimately, this role offers a multifaceted and impactful experience, allowing you to directly contribute to customer satisfaction, business growth, and the overall success of Remote within the dynamic APAC market.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in retaining and growing existing accounts, driving net new expansion bookings, and executing upsell/cross-sell opportunities within customer accounts.
  • • Demonstrated success in building key customer relationships across various personas, including decision-makers, champions, and C-level stakeholders.
  • • Ability to create and execute sales motions and tactics to consistently grow revenue per account.
  • • Strong knowledge of sales processes and the ability to develop pipeline, forecast outcomes, and provide accurate reporting data.
  • • Extensive experience in Account Management, preferably within a SaaS environment, or equivalent sales experience.
  • • Business fluency in English is essential.
