- • As an Account Manager within our Commercial Sales team, you will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding a dedicated portfolio of strategic accounts. This role is centered on a proactive 'farming' approach, cultivating deep customer engagement, and driving long-term value creation. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve significant account growth through multi-product expansion, ensure robust renewal rates, and build enduring executive-level relationships.
- • You will engage with complex, global accounts, primarily within engineering-led organizations. A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with our internal teams—including Sales, Customer Success, and Product—to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities across usage, team adoption, and new product lines. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager, providing a clear line of sight and support for your strategic initiatives.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to own a defined book of strategic customers, taking full accountability for their long-term revenue growth and retention. This requires a strong, nuanced understanding of upsell, cross-sell, and renewal mechanics within a multi-product SaaS environment. You will leverage usage data, customer maturity assessments, organizational structures, and evolving business goals to identify key expansion levers and opportunities.
- • A critical component of this role is your ability to engage confidently and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes engineering leaders, technical decision-makers, and economic buyers. You will need to demonstrate a solid grasp of SaaS business models and possess a high degree of comfort and skill in selling to and collaborating with technical audiences within complex organizations.
- • Building and maintaining strong, trusted partnerships with your accounts is paramount. You will engage customers through regular strategic meetings, including onsite visits where appropriate, to deepen relationships and accelerate account growth. This proactive engagement ensures we remain aligned with their evolving needs and business objectives.
- • Driving renewal and retention excellence is a core tenet of this role. You will proactively ensure predictable renewals by consistently reinforcing the value, tangible outcomes, and return on investment (ROI) that BrowserStack delivers, well in advance of contract milestones. This involves identifying potential renewal or contraction risks early and collaborating closely with internal teams to develop and execute mitigation strategies.
- • Operating cross-functionally with rigor is essential for success. You will serve as the central point of ownership for your accounts, orchestrating efforts across various internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize growth potential. Maintaining meticulous Salesforce hygiene is crucial for accurate forecasting, informed decision-making, and overall sales operational efficiency.
