  • • Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for healthcare and a knack for building strong relationships? Upstream Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our East Charleston, SC team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of outpatient physical therapy.
  • • In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and expanding our referral network by fostering strategic partnerships with physicians, their office staff, and other key community leaders within the East Charleston area.
  • • Your primary objective will be to increase referral outcomes for both existing and potential partners by developing and executing a highly effective call strategy tailored to your assigned region.
  • • You will be responsible for regularly reporting on the status of your strategic plan to the Regional VP of Operations and the VP of Sales, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, and key performance indicators.
  • • Effective and frequent communication with your leadership team is paramount. You will proactively discuss goals, strategies, and outcomes, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
  • • A core function of this role involves building and nurturing robust relationships with customers and influential community leaders, establishing Upstream Rehabilitation as a trusted and preferred provider of physical therapy services.
  • • You will collaborate effectively with a diverse team, including Clinic Directors, Therapy Staff, Business Office Staff, and fellow Account Managers, working both independently and as part of a cohesive unit to achieve shared objectives.
  • • A key responsibility is to confidently and persuasively present Upstream Rehabilitation's company information, comprehensive service array, and compelling outcomes data to existing and potential partners, highlighting the exceptional quality of care we provide.
  • • You will leverage reporting and data tools to effectively communicate the high quality, clinical excellence, and positive patient outcomes achieved by our dedicated team members and the services they deliver.
  • • This role offers opportunities to enhance our community presence through identifying potential publicity avenues, coordinating engaging community events, and actively participating in regional meetings as required.
  • • You must possess the ability to articulate our company's value proposition, including clinical outcomes data, using appropriate medical terminology to resonate with healthcare professionals.
  • • You will be expected to manage multiple, potentially conflicting priorities with a high degree of organization and efficiency, ensuring all objectives are met.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a sales-related field.
  • • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales and marketing experience, preferably targeting physicians, medical offices, employers, or a related healthcare sector.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with healthcare professionals and community leaders.
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and working effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
