  • • As a Sales Account Manager at Sartorius AG, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and fostering robust customer relationships within a defined territory encompassing Albany, NY, and/or Tarrytown, NY. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and contributing directly to the company's success in the dynamic life sciences sector.
  • • A core component of your daily activities will involve the diligent and proactive use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce (SFDC). This tool is the bedrock of our sales framework, enabling effective sales activity management, customer interaction documentation, and operational sales steering. Accurate and consistent data entry in SFDC is crucial for you to achieve your personal targets and contribute to Sartorius's overall objectives.
  • • You will leverage SFDC data to conduct thorough analyses of your assigned customer base. This analytical approach will allow you to identify key trends, derive valuable customer insights, and meticulously track sales performance, informing your strategic decisions and account planning.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to actively champion and drive the adoption of newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of sales activities and closely monitoring their impact.
  • • You will engage directly with customers to understand their unique needs, generate qualified leads, and provide prompt responses to inquiries. Based on your assessment, you will recommend appropriate Sartorius products and services that best meet their requirements, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • • Developing comprehensive account plans will be essential. This involves forecasting potential business, strategizing on how to achieve it, and coordinating with various internal teams to secure the necessary resources to execute these plans effectively.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and product management, to enhance market perception, develop winning strategies, and secure new business from your accounts.
