- • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team at Pavago. This is a pivotal role where you will take ownership of and significantly streamline our financial operations, contributing directly to the success of our fast-moving, founder-led business. As our Accountant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial reporting and processes. You will work closely with various departments, providing critical financial insights and support to drive informed decision-making.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. You will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies. This involves meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- • A key aspect of this role will be to support the month-end and year-end close processes. You will prepare journal entries, perform account analysis, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our financial reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule, providing stakeholders with a clear and comprehensive view of the company's financial health.
- • You will also play a crucial role in managing and improving our internal controls and financial processes. This includes identifying areas for enhancement, developing and implementing new procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. - • Collaboration will be a significant part of your day-to-day. You will work closely with the leadership team, providing them with financial data, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic planning and business development. - • Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages, and handling related tax filings. This requires a thorough understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
- • The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying financial trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. You will leverage your analytical skills to interpret financial data, generate insightful reports, and present findings to management in a clear and concise manner. This includes developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to support business planning.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- • Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
