- • Own the financial integration of newly acquired companies, cleansing and standardizing multi-entity books so they are ERP-ready within tight deadlines.
- • Drive the full-cycle migration of two companies into our new ERP system—planning, mapping, testing, and cut-over—ensuring go-live by 12-31-2025 with zero disruption to daily operations.
- • Reconstruct and reconcile historical data spanning multiple currencies, inter-company eliminations, and complex revenue recognition to create a single source of truth before migration.
- • Design and document repeatable playbooks for future acquisitions, turning each cleanup into a scalable template that reduces onboarding time for Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for all entities post-migration, delivering accurate financial statements and management reports within 5 business days.
- • Manage payroll cycles for US and international employees, coordinating with local providers to ensure statutory withholdings, benefits, and equity compensation are processed flawlessly.
- • Calculate and file multi-state sales tax, franchise tax, and international VAT/GST returns, leveraging Avalara, TaxJar, or similar platforms to maintain 100 % compliance.
- • Partner with FP&A to build rolling 12-month cash-flow forecasts that inform executive decisions on capital allocation, pricing strategy, and expansion funding.
- • Continuously optimize the chart of accounts, cost-center structure, and KPI dashboards so stakeholders can slice data by customer, product, geography, and delivery channel in real time.
- • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners, preparing PBC schedules and ensuring clean opinions and covenant compliance.
- • Champion internal controls and SOX readiness by documenting key processes, segregation of duties matrices, and approval hierarchies that scale with company growth.
- • Mentor junior accounting staff and offshore bookkeepers, fostering a culture of accuracy, curiosity, and customer obsession across the global Finance team.
- • Leverage scripting or advanced Excel to automate recurring journal entries, bank reconciliations, and variance analyses, freeing time for strategic insight generation.
- • Participate in cross-functional “war-room” sessions during product launches or M&A integrations, translating financial impact into actionable recommendations for Engineering and Product leaders.
- • Contribute to ad-hoc projects such as ASC 606 revenue-tool implementations, equity management platform rollouts, and pricing-model simulations that directly influence CXT Software’s competitive edge.
- • Represent Finance in global all-hands and customer webinars, articulating how disciplined financial stewardship enables faster, more reliable delivery logistics for thousands of end-users worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with US-based companies, including multi-entity consolidations.
- • Demonstrated experience in external or internal auditing, with a track record of clean audit opinions.
- • Expert-level proficiency in at least one major ERP or accounting platform: Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Desktop, or Intuit-IES.
- • Ability to manipulate large data sets with meticulous attention to detail; advanced Excel or SQL skills preferred.
- • Availability to work overlapping hours with US time zones and able to start immediately on a long-term contract basis.
