- • Enter, balance, and post daily cash, ACH, check, and credit card deposits to ensure accurate financial records.
- • Generate and send customer requests for information, including follow-up communications as needed.
- • Review and process customer files to maintain accurate and up-to-date account documentation.
- • Generate and dispatch customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- • Produce accounts receivable aging reports and review them to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
- • Follow up with customers regarding open balances using account statements and payment reminders to reduce outstanding receivables.
- • Perform credit checks on new customers and establish appropriate payment terms based on company guidelines.
- • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable entries to maintain ledger integrity.
- • Prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account data.
- • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving any discrepancies.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- • 2+ years of corporate accounting experience in a relevant industry
- • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages such as QuickBooks
- • Advanced MS Excel skills including SUMIF and VLOOKUP functions
- • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
