- • Develop and execute internal communication strategies tailored to advisor teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and advisor engagement goals.
- • Own the end-to-end advisor communications calendar, coordinating and scheduling messaging across departments to maintain consistency and timeliness.
- • Create, edit, and distribute high-quality advisor-facing content including weekly newsletters, leadership updates, meeting communications, FAQs, talking points, and presentations.
- • Coordinate and execute weekly advisor webinars, managing agendas, speaker preparation, content review, logistics, and follow-up communications.
- • Translate complex financial and operational updates into clear, concise, and advisor-friendly language while maintaining a consistent tone and voice across all materials.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate departments (Marketing, Compliance, Product, Operations) and advisor teams to facilitate information flow and ensure timely dissemination of key initiatives.
- • Gather feedback from advisor teams and relay insights to corporate stakeholders to inform communication strategy and improve relevance.
- • Maintain and enhance systematic communication approval processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- • Evaluate and improve communication channels including email platforms, CRM systems, intranet tools, Teams Webinars, GoToWebinar, and Wistia to optimize reach and engagement.
- • Leverage AI tools to streamline recurring communication processes, increase content speed, ensure consistency, and surface new ideas for advisor messaging.
- • Implement best practices for message delivery frequency, format, and channel selection to maximize advisor uptake and understanding.
- • Monitor communication effectiveness using data and feedback to recommend continuous improvements in content and distribution methods.
- • Support advisor onboarding and ongoing education through targeted communication initiatives aligned with training and development teams.
- • Promote advisor participation in firm-wide programs, events, and initiatives through strategic messaging and outreach.
- • Proactively develop communication materials during periods of organizational change, growth, or critical initiatives to ensure advisor readiness and alignment.
- • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- • Operate effectively in ambiguity, adapting quickly to shifting business needs and evolving priorities while maintaining execution speed and quality.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Mail Merges in Outlook, Salesforce, and other communication platforms to execute daily responsibilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field
- • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or advisor support within the financial services industry
- • Strong understanding of financial advisory business models and advisor needs
- • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- • Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, high-growth, or rapidly changing environments where priorities shift frequently and execution speed is critical
- • Experience with communication platforms such as Microsoft 365, Outlook Mail Merges, Teams Webinars, GoToWebinar, Salesforce, and intranet tools
