📋 Description
- • As Principal Product Manager for Kong's Metering & Billing platform, you will own the strategy, roadmap, narrative, and outcomes for Kong Konnect Metering & Billing, operating with founder-level autonomy to shape usage-based pricing for AI tokens, agents, GPU compute, and APIs.
- • You will drive competitive positioning by translating Kong's payment-processor independence and open-source advantages into product bets, lead go-to-market efforts with sales leadership on pricing and packaging, and partner across engineering, design, and Gateway teams to ensure alignment.
- • You will shape the open-source strategy for OpenMeter, decide how to invest in and grow it, and lead product discussions with engineering to establish strong technical foundations.
- • You will work at Kong, a trusted API and AI connectivity company powering trillions of API calls for Fortune 500s and startups, where you’ll have executive air cover and real influence over product, strategy, GTM, and hiring in a high-leverage bet on the shift from seat-based to consumption-based pricing.
