- • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transportation of specimens in compliance with network policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- • Conduct clinical screenings including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema screening exams, as trained and authorized by IQVIA.
- • Ensure proper handling, storage, and delivery of clinical specimens to designated laboratories following all laboratory safety and handling protocols.
- • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment including the secure storage and transport of medical equipment and supplies.
- • Monitor and manage clinical supply inventory to ensure availability for patient visits and compliance with operational requirements.
- • Collaborate with IQVIA’s clinical coordination team to accurately complete and submit all visit-related documentation in a timely manner.
- • Identify, report, and document adverse events, medical product complaints, or patient inquiries in accordance with IQVIA and manufacturer guidelines.
- • Accurately log mileage and time spent on patient visits and travel for reimbursement and regulatory compliance purposes.
- • Travel to patient residences within designated geographic areas to deliver clinical services; ability to travel up to 100 miles per visit.
- • Lift and transport medical equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, including eye exam kits and diagnostic tools.
- • Utilize medical equipment proficiently and maintain proper documentation practices for all patient interactions and procedures.
- • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach during in-home visits.
- • Maintain fluency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with patients and clinical teams.
- • Operate a personal vehicle for work-related travel and ensure compliance with all driving regulations and safety standards.
- • Complete required drug screening and background check prior to commencement of duties.
- • Accept per diem assignments based on geographic availability and program demand with no minimum monthly visit requirement.
- • Receive paid hourly compensation that includes both appointment time and travel time to/from patient homes, with a 2-hour minimum pay guarantee.
- • Receive IRS-standard mileage reimbursement for all work-related travel.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings
- • At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred
- • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred
- • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record review
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to transport medical equipment
- • Must complete a drug screening and background check after accepting an offer
