📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer.
• Write original scripts with strong narrative hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation tailored for short-form vertical platforms.
• Lead end-to-end production of each episode, including casting, blocking, filming, and post-production, using proprietary AI tools provided by EverAI.
• Collaborate with in-house AI copilot systems for character consistency, visual generation, and trailer creation, learning and applying AI content creation workflows.
• Work closely with AI Content Creators, tech team members, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision and production output.
• Adapt storytelling techniques to leverage AI-generated assets while maintaining high-quality narrative integrity and emotional resonance.
• Iterate rapidly on episode drafts based on feedback from the executive team and internal metrics, prioritizing speed, performance, and user engagement.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Own creative decisions from concept to final delivery, balancing artistic vision with technical constraints of AI-assisted production.
• Stay current with emerging AI video generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance, and apply insights to improve production quality.
• Deliver consistent output on tight deadlines while managing multiple series simultaneously without compromising creative standards.
• Participate in weekly creative syncs and production reviews with the global remote team, communicating clearly and collaboratively in English.
• Contribute to evolving production pipelines by sharing feedback on AI tool performance and suggesting improvements to workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a doer mindset: proactive, self-directed, and committed to ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Embrace a culture of radical creativity, rapid iteration, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
• Uphold the company’s ethical standards by ensuring all content aligns with EverGuard’s guidelines and promotes responsible AI companionship.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts: hooks, cliffhangers, minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Fluent in English
• Goal-oriented with ownership mindset and commitment to long-term impact
