📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and successful delivery of robust, scalable, and enterprise-grade web and content management solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding our technical strategy for AEM, ensuring that our platforms not only meet but exceed business objectives and provide exceptional user experiences.
• As the AEM Technical Lead, you will be the primary technical authority for all AEM-related projects. This involves translating complex business requirements into well-architected technical solutions, making critical design decisions, and overseeing the entire development lifecycle from conception through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the performance, security, and maintainability of our AEM implementations.
• You will lead and mentor a team of talented AEM developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. This includes providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, setting coding standards, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Your leadership will empower the team to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively.
• A significant part of your role will involve hands-on technical design and development. You will be responsible for architecting solutions using AEM's core components, workflows, and APIs. This includes designing and implementing custom components, templates, and integrations with other enterprise systems. You will also be involved in performance tuning, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing the AEM environment for maximum efficiency.
• Collaboration is key in this position. You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and business needs. You will communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating informed decision-making and ensuring project success.
• You will play a vital role in defining and enforcing development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for AEM projects. This includes establishing patterns for reusable code, ensuring security vulnerabilities are addressed proactively, and promoting efficient development workflows. Your commitment to quality will be reflected in the stability and scalability of our AEM platforms.
• Staying abreast of the latest AEM features, industry trends, and emerging technologies is essential. You will evaluate new tools and techniques, recommending and implementing them where appropriate to enhance our AEM capabilities and maintain a competitive edge. This forward-thinking approach will ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and future-proof.
• You will be responsible for the technical planning and execution of AEM upgrades and migrations. This involves assessing the impact of new versions, developing migration strategies, and managing the technical aspects of the transition to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving will be a daily occurrence. You will be expected to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that arise within the AEM environment, often under pressure, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on users.
• You will contribute to the estimation of effort and timelines for AEM development tasks, providing technical input to project planning and resource allocation. Your accurate assessments will be vital for realistic project scoping and management.
• Driving innovation within the AEM space is encouraged. You will explore opportunities to leverage AEM's capabilities to create new and improved digital experiences for our customers and internal users.
• This role requires a deep understanding of the AEM ecosystem, including AEM Sites, Assets, and potentially AEM Forms. You will leverage your knowledge to design solutions that are optimized for content authoring, delivery, and management.
• You will ensure that all AEM solutions adhere to enterprise security policies and best practices, implementing appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
• The AEM Technical Lead will also be involved in defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines for AEM projects, automating build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• You will be a champion for AEM within the organization, sharing knowledge and best practices with other teams and contributing to the overall technical growth of the company.
• Ultimately, your success will be measured by the successful delivery of high-quality, performant, and scalable AEM solutions that drive business value and enhance our digital presence.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as an AEM Technical Lead or Senior AEM Developer with significant architectural responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of AEM architecture, core components (Sling, JCR, CRX/DE), workflows, and APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring).
• Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with AEM Cloud Service and its deployment models.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
