- • As an Agentic Code Analysis Engineer at Mend.io, you will play a pivotal role in redefining how organizations secure software by advancing the company’s AI-native application security platform through cutting-edge research and development in code analysis and remediation.
- • Day to day, you will research and develop next-generation code analysis and remediation algorithms, work hands-on with GenAI models to integrate them into detection workflows, tackle complex software analysis problems such as call graphs, control/data/taint flow analysis, and collaborate with product managers, algorithm engineers, and application engineers to prototype, validate, and productize innovations.
- • You will join a newly formed team within Mend.io’s R&D organization focused on combining advanced GenAI techniques with deep static code analysis to shape the future of application security infrastructure, operating in a collaborative, empowering workplace that values learning, flexibility, and respect.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to translate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable product features, enhance detection infrastructure with intelligent, context-aware insights, and grow your expertise in GenAI-powered developer tools, ML for code, and secure software development at the forefront of AI-driven application security.
🎯 Requirements
- • MSc in Computer Science (or related field) from a top-tier institution – Big Advantage
- • 3+ years of software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python (primary) and familiarity with Java / C++ / JavaScript codebases
- • Hands-on experience with LLMs / GenAI systems, including prompt engineering, inference optimization, and model evaluation
- • Experience designing LLM-driven pipelines (agentic or tool-augmented), including structured outputs (JSON schemas) and multi-step reasoning/verification flows
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – Must
- • Familiarity with ML for code, static/dynamic analysis tools, and AST-level representations (Advantage)
