Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Build and deploy production-grade AI automation systems to streamline internal workflows at a remote WordPress agency, focusing on AI-assisted development and content generation.
- • Design and implement agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent frameworks to automate repetitive tasks across design and development pipelines.
- • Integrate and manage APIs from Anthropic and OpenAI, leveraging function calling, tool use, and streaming capabilities to enable dynamic, context-aware AI responses within internal tools.
- • Develop internal tools that reduce manual effort in WordPress development, including automation for theme customization, component library updates, and CMS content population.
- • Create automation pipelines that connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and the agency’s internal component library to eliminate handoffs and reduce delivery cycles.
- • Implement and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integrations as part of the company’s broader AI infrastructure to support scalable, context-aware AI interactions.
- • Work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to translate a documented automation roadmap into functional, shipped systems with measurable time savings.
- • Ensure all automation systems are reliable, maintainable, and documented for use by non-technical team members across design, development, and content teams.
- • Optimize existing workflows by identifying bottlenecks in current processes and replacing them with AI-driven alternatives that improve speed and consistency.
- • Utilize strong version control practices (Git) to manage codebases for automation tools, coordinate deployments, and enable team collaboration.
- • Communicate clearly and effectively via async written channels with a US-based team, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and technical decisions.
- • Prioritize building functional, real-world systems over theoretical research — focus is on shipping working tools, not model training or academic experimentation.
- • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the agency’s AI automation stack by iterating on deployed systems based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- • Support adoption of automation tools by providing clear documentation and guiding team members through new workflows without requiring technical expertise.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js
- • Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks
- • Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming)
- • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment
- • Solid version control habits
- • English proficiency sufficient for async written communication with a US-based team
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work with async-first culture
- • Contract engagement with path to conversion based on performance
- • Direct access to leadership with no bureaucracy and fast feedback loops
- • Flexibility in timezone alignment (MST/UTC-7 preferred but not required)
- • Opportunity to shape the AI automation future of a growing agency
- • Focus on shipped work over resumes — apply by showing real projects, not cover letters
